    ix's can be reliable, but at this point most of them have been passed around through so many owners, abused, and neglected.. I don't know that I could honestly recommend one to a new E30 enthusiast. You could get lucky and find one that's not a total pile of crap, but more than likely that's exactly what it will be. stick to RWD, much simpler to get into. If you really want to later, you can always buy one down the road when you're more familiar with the car.
