its BMR one of the vendors on here. they exist because they deal with insurance companies and body shops that get paid by insurance companies. they can charge them outrageous prices because the insurance company has to pay it. here is an example of the "premier" jeep recycler on the west coast.

buys wrecked jeeps for $1000-$2000. lets say a 5.9 Limited 1998 grand cherokee (rare, most desirable).

they charge $500/door panel, $2000 for front/rear leather seats, 250 for bumper covers, $50 for bumper backing metal and mount, 1500 for a transmission, 1500 for an engine, $1100 for a rear axle...it just goes on an on.

you really need to find smaller, more boutique yards who are willing to cader to individuals without insurance company pockets.

The EuroDepot is small company that deals with individuals, not really insurance companies at all. In fact, they are a bunch of e30 enthusiasts themselves.

Find someone who's parting out an E30 in your area- trust me, someone's doing it.

A complete E30 door should not be more than ~$100 or so- IF you can pick it up.

If you want to come to NC, I'll sell you as many as you want.

You're wasting your breath complaining about a junkyard that will not guarantee color- none of the junkyards will normally do that, for various reasons- the main one being that if they guaranteed color, they'd essentially be guaranteeing that the color was factory (then they'd be screwed if it was repainted a slightly different shade) and that the paint was in good shape- even after shipping + handling.

If you do find someone to guarantee color- expect to pay a premium (and don't bitch about it...).
