Got a pic? Still doesn't sound like a big deal, depending on how it is mounted.
What about just using a hammer with it? I've used similar sized stamps in leather with no heat. Soaking the leather helps a lot as well.Comment

This is English Bridle, it is a hot stuffed leather and pretty much repels water. I'm just going to get a normal 3D image stamp and use heat and an arbor press to make the mark.
