Mercedes is powering half the cars on the track, but only the Petronas cars were in front. First race is always a shake down, 11cars finished, seems like Alotta teams have their work cut out for them.

In other news red Bull is already threatening to quit again. What a bunch of sniveling bitches. Man does is look like Alonso left at just the wrong time, McLaren have got a long ways to go. Me thinks Alonso just didn't want to travel all the way to OZ to come away with a dnf

There's some really freaky stuff about him forgetting the last 20 years? It wasn't ever substantiated very well and I never heard any updates, but that wouldn't be a good thing concussion-wise if it happened even briefly.

You have to remember that McLaren came out after the race stating that they approached it as a test session for them. I'm sure they told Alonso that before heading down there so it made more sense for him to stay back home and get 100% ready for the next race.
