This is basically it, and kind of the goal for my car. Everything I'm putting on it was available when the E30 was still sold. (They made E36s for a year while they kept the E30 cabrio, so my steering rack counts!)

Interior upgrades like maplight mirrors, M-Tech wheels, premium speakers, sport seats (although I prefer comforts); exterior things like iS spoilers/lips front and rear, Euro or US ellipsoids, Euro grilles; I'd say M50 injectors are a no-downsides upgrade if you're in need of injectors...

Anybody mention 3 spoke M-Tech steering wheels? 1991 airbags are no longer considered safe, and 4 spoke wheels are ugly ass.

No, that's too big a modification. That will disqualify you for a lot of classic car rallies, events and races in the future, and requires too many supporting mods. Awesome, for sure, but not for everyone.

Clutch stop could be added to the list.

Is there anything else like the DSSR out there? Something small, but with an impact that is 100% desirable?

Any downside to M3 CAB's? Does the extra feedback become wearisome on a long cross-country drive? Anyone here decided to go with the stock pieces instead of the M3 parts?

I run the e36 m3 centered solid ones and they are pretty decent. Hold up much better than stock. never done a long trip with my e30 (much rather use a bigger longer wheelbase car for that). Honestly don't thing there's any downsides

I have the E30 M3 offset bushings not sure what the extra caster did for me but much better than 25 year old ruined stock bushings I don't understand why the bushings wouldn't be solid in the first place every other vehicle I have seen that is the case

^ It't to make the car more compliant with the road so you get less of a jolt back to the steering wheel when you hit a bump or rut in the road. Also sends a little less vibration from the road into your hands and fingers/wrists.

The extra castor is for increased stability at high speed, with a slight trade-off in steering effectiveness. Think of a bike head angle, same thing. A Downhill race bike or a drag bike have a lot of castor, a road bike (moto and cycle) have less castor.

UUC Stage 3 short shift kit with the DSSR. It permits you to shift rather than row, and the DSSR corrects a design flaw in the stock mechanism.
