Stock E30 vs S5_ swap

A nose heavy car will push. And there is something magical about the E30s in their stock configuration, however, that can be quickly forgotten with an extra 100 horsepower. Besides who, aside from a race driver, or very sensitive street driver will really be driven nuts by a few extra pounds up front?

Im not normally one to pull the "search card" but this has been beat to death.
Your partner has obviously not driven a well set up swap car. Unless youre talking e30m3 or M42 car the difference is easily overcome

On the horns of a dilemma : stock or S5_ Swap.
I understand the appeal of the S5_ package
But I have an acquaintance that is a racer from the late 60's in BMW and Porsche
And was involved with BMW NA on the National roll out of the E30.
He waxes poetically about the delicate 50/50 balance of the stock platform and
How the S5_ weight would destroy it. So, light balance /sweetness or sledgehammer ?
Any thoughts having done the transformation?
