It looks like it could be an IX I can't tell for sure though... It does have the late model valance with the diving boards so it is a 1988 car for sure.

I've gotten professional job interviews in accounting and finance positions by stating my affiliation with local BMW clubs.

I interviewed with BMW Corporate and drove my E30 to the interview and even pointed it out during the interview when they asked "Why BMW?". Didn't help, they didn't really care, they thought it was very mildly nifty.

not surprising...it's just another car to them. They have seen/discussed enough bmw crap to make them wanna puke.
