VIN Decoding - Post VIN for production info

update: just called local bmw dealer from my shop to verify what parts go on this engine, by vin its a 328i m52, not an m3 s52, im so pissed off right now, hoping they will drop off an s52 and other goodies to make up for it...

you should've known right off the bat that it wasn't an S52 because the vin tag says WBA and not WBS.

If you didn't know, WBS is the BMW Motorsport division and WBA is for all non-Ms

ok, well i needed that info too, i didnt know, so thank you in advance, i have another "s52" being dropped off, i will look for the WBS on the vin badge this time before i sign the dotted line to accept the next engine.
