Intake studs vs Exhaust studs - General Question

A threaded stud is a threaded stud.

Yes, but whatever the hell you do, don't use a long metric setscrew as an exhaust stud.
The metallurgy's all wrong- they're very hard and brittle- and they snap off.
Since they are so hard, they are pure hell to remove once they've snapped.

Says the man who 'had a better idea' once...

... and yeah, they're all steel. Reuse them unless they're damaged...
