    Too late the news...

Looks like I got here a bit late for this one... no matter.
    BMW at Apricot Hill, full-mod:
1:18.885... 100% clean. I think I may have spent more time on it than most - 90 minutes. I read that most of the rest of you spent 20-30 minutes on it, so maybe it's no big deal. But, here's the X-Port replay, for anyone who has that device, to download and view:

ive never raced with the 328 so this will be a new experience for me. if no tcs or asm is to difficult to get the thing around the track then i will edit that. but for now those are the rules.

Next challenge (since I won the last one):
If so, bust out your Castrol or Denso Supra (hint: Denso is about 1-3 tenths faster) and buy anything you want for it (including TCS or ASM). You will be running on Midfield and my best so far is a 57.530. Good luck, it's a handful.
Midfield (not Midfield II), Denso or Castrol Supra with any and every mod (works out to be 970hp on the Denso after an oil change). Try to keep at least 2 tires on the track at all times.

Time to beat is 57:530

Just for your guys' info, XtremeD63 is a friend of mine and his times will be close to impossible for us to beat, so disregard anything he says......LOL. If you think I'm kidding, try to even get close to his BMW time at Apricot Hill and you'll see what I'm talking about. And he ALWAYS keeps at least 2 tires on the track at ALL times.

If you are referring to any of my or XtremeD63's runs, we ALWAYS have the full replay available via x-port file or I can take a pic of anything you want. We are GT3 message board regulars and most likely play GT3 more than anyone else here.

You must have a x-port or shark-port to view them.
Basically, it is a device that allows you to transfer files from your memory card/PS2 to your PC, store them or send them to others via the internet (or CD/floppy/etc.), and re-install them to your your memory card for viewing or use. You can save/transport entire game saves, lap/race replays and car settings. You can also use someone else's fast lap as a ghost for you to chase.

X-port is available to your door for about $30.

                          Tuff....side-challenge.

Rome Circuit in the '94 F1 car. That's the track/car I spend the most time with. See if you can beat a 57.9. It's definately possibly, I still havn't mastered the back section, but I'm interested to see how my time compares with yours (and your friends).

                          Later,

I say we run Côte d'Azur with the N/A F1 cars. I just did an endurance race there and my record was a 1:21.254....I know that map like the back of my hand cause I spent almost 2 hours on that map with the F090/S or whatever the F its called.

                              Stu,
If you don't have ANY wall touches in that run that is a VERY good run. Fastest time in the world is a 55.962 and I actually know the guy that ran it. The replay was also checked and IS 100% clean with no wall touches. Looking at the times database and seeing other people that I generally can run with, I'd guess I would be anywhere from a 57.9-58.5. That would probably take a considerable amount of time to accomplish as well. Maybe 3-5 hours. I have a busy week coming up, but if I get a chance, I'll give it a whirl. I'm not too fond of the F1 cars, but I do know and like Rome Circuit.

If you were curious, your time would make you 11th fastest in a F1 car around that track (as long as there are NO wall touches). You can view the times here in the database: http://www.racing-line.org/coursesel...ectedCourse=15

There are several fast guys that do not have times turned in for that track however.
