having had both a quattro in the past and an ix now I would still say AWD/4wd rules. You can say what you like but a country road and RWD v. AWD, the AwD will leave Rwd in the dust seriously. But FWD is definitely for dorks, like american cars. My choice Awd, Rwd, and then walking instead of driving cause all the fun is gone without the first 2 choices, and if your not actively driving and having fun then why bother.
