    New wheels enroute!

Just got confirmation that my new (to me) wheels are now on the way to me from Europe! I bought them from a fellow R3v member, "lowrider" who I have bought parts from in the past. He always has amazing wheels for sale, and I always told him that when I was able, I would buy something from him.

What I ultimately purchased were wheyking mesh wheels in 15x7 et26 fitment (perfect for e30s). From my research they were made in Italy during the 1980s. Lowrider had them refinished for me in a gunmetal powdercoat. They look amazing in the pictures he just sent me, and I can't wait to see them in person.

Can't say enough good things about Lowrider in case anyone is considering doing business with him. Talk about an honest reasonable guy. I would highly recommend him to anyone on R3v.

I am having Pukar designs do up some custom vintage BMW motorsport wheel emblems for them, including a protective domed finish, but I don't have pictures of them yet. I will update when I do.

    *end excited rant*

Very cool, they remind me of the Compomotives I had on the Spitfire.
