The weirdest places you've lost your keys?

So, today before I left for work, I was worrying about finding my keys because I'm a bit of a klutz. I ended up finding them in a pickle jar with my spare change that I find every so often.

That got me to thinking, what's the weirdest place you've ever lost your keys?

Forget the key, once I could not find my car. Did not know which level I parked at the mall.

One early morning I was preparing a protein shake in a Blender Bottle. For anyone that doesn't know what that is, it's a bottle with a wire ball inside. You shake the bottle and the wire ball helps mix up the powder so it's not clumpy. Anyways, instead of dropping the ball in the bottle I tossed my keys in there instead. I figured it out once I tried to start my car with the wire ball.

The cup holder of a work vehicle. retraced my steps for hours in the shop. wouldn't have found them if it weren't for someone having to drive the car i left them in.

I constantly leave my keys in the ignition and will go my whole day without realizing I don't have them, then once I start walking back to my car I realize and pray my car is still there.

How well did the keys work as a shaker ball?

I Mechanic at my local tire shop, accidentally dropped his keys to his new car in a customers car.

It was a cash job so they had no contact details for the customer.
