They weren't actually lost because I knew where they were and could see them, but I locked the keys to my parents' 1972 Satellite inside the car while at a gas station. I went and got a coat hanger from the attendant, bent it up and managed to unlock the door. I went to the cashier and gave her back her bent-up coat hanger, returned to the car and found I'd locked the door. Again. With the keys still in the ignition. Again. At least the hanger was still bent to the correct angle.

On the ski slope at Whitetail Resort, luckily someone turned them into the lost and found.

Well I didn't loose them, more or less mixed them up. I was at my buddies (who also has an e30) and we went out that night and the next morning I woke up grabbed my keys and my car wouldn't start. I gave up and just walked home and then a couple hours later my buddy called me telling me his car wouldn't start either. It actually took us a couple of days to realize we had each others keys.

My friend hid my keys in the waffleswaffleswaffleswaffleswaffles of an inflatable Lindsey Lohan doll.

                Lots of drinks were had.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.
