is this the gay show that "suped up" that red rx-8? If yes then that show is horrible and the drama is staged.

yup, complete with 'before' performance testing (in the wet) with no 'after' testing. what a waste of a channel, I'd rather see NASCAR, honestly.

Last night's episode was actually a little better. They actually did a somewhat decent JDM conversion on an old 240sx, complete with an SR20DEt motor. That RX8 episode was just painful though. "There's no body kit available for this car, it's too new", yea, besides the one that mazda sells themselves.

Everyone else I know is raving about that "sports car revolution" show, I can't say that does anything for me either.

They have changed the name of the show. It is now called "Ricer Eye for the Queer Guy."

Any show that isnt just technical tidbits like Goss's Garage on Motorweek are all bunk, thye just make up some drama and shit to make it seem interesting because in actuality watching some dude wrench a car is boring to the average person.

I haven't had a chance to watch it myself, but it sounds like I'm not missing anything special. If what you guys say is true, I can probably get more from watching an episode of NASCAR Garage :?

I assure you, you will (get more from NASCAR garage that is)

I mean yeah, they made a cool car last episode, but they didnt even talk about the good shit. for the motor conversion, they removed the stock intake, then all of the sudden the sr20 was installed and running. They focused more on the damn wing than anyone else, and the sad part is, the kid whose car they used did too.

Meh. I had to stop watching about 5 minutes. The guys who did the work were so fucking annoying. Obviously scripted speech. "A new engine?!?" Yes you dumb shit.....don't ask so surprised....."A turbo? Whoa!"

Douchebags......they spoke slow so that the ricers could attempt to follow allow. Very annoying for normal car fanatics.

I was very disappointed after viewing the RX-8 episoide. The guys argued most of the time about what to do, and the confrontations were all staged, and they over exaggerated. They didn't "transform" the car either. It sure isn't a show that I will make a special effort to watch.
