Stock 325is catalytic converter width

I asked this in the exhaust forum but there is usually not as much action there.

Does any one know the width of the E30 325is cat? My car doesnt have it anymore and I am just working through custom exhaust ideas.

Measurements would be great thanks :)

You're in luck, I just pulled the stock cat off of mine. Looks like just over 8 inches wide and the cat part is about 24 inches long.
