    5 Speed Pedal Assembly

Will a air bag pedal assembly work on a non airbag car? My pedal assembly cracked and I need a new one. I tried researching and didn't get a definite answer. I found a free pedal box in the area I just don't know what it came out of. I don't need it to be perfect I just need it to work. I've Pm'd a couple of people but I'm in desperate need of getting my car up and running ASAP.

    Thanks in advance,

RealOEM shows different part numbers for airbag/non-airbag. Not sure if they can be made to work though.

you will be fine. don't bother with the bracket. just take the long 17mm gold bolt out that holds the pedals and you can just slide them into your bracket on your car. really late model cars had plastic clutch pedals which kind of suck. the clutch return on late cars is a simple spring like the one used on the brake pedal. the clutch return on early models is a spring encapsulated in a plastic housing with an eye bolt going through it. i like the early style metal clucth pedal and the early return spring the best. they will all work in all cars.

don't forget that auto cars have an extra wiring circuit that cuts out the start mechanism when not in neutral or reverse. (there is also a relay under the dash that is part of this system). you will need to defeat this(or fix it so it says in park) to make the car start.

The problem is that the bracket is the part thats cracked. I already have a 5 speed so I'm not trying to swap the assembly for that. The problem is that its cracked and cause stuff to move when I press on it.

According to Ed over on the R3V Faceboook page it can be done with some grinding.
