did e30s come factory without A/C?

My 9/85 Eta was non AC as well. No recirculate switch even.

My buddy did retrofit cruise control into her though.

I wish you could still get cars bare bones like that now.

My touring is a non ac car from factory.

Both of my tourings are the same. In fact pretty much all the E30's I've seen here in europe don't have AC.

I can testify to this. In Denmark an E30 with A/C is pretty rare, whats even more rare, is one with working A/C.

My black touring has A/C, in a non functioning version.

Mine was originally 316i and it doesn't have those buttons. I swore when I do engine swap I'd do the A/C as well, but ended up putting an m20 without A/C from a racecar.

All e30's delivered new in the United states came with A/C. It was an option in Canada and the rest of the world but BMW/NA only imported cars with A/C.

Resurrecting a dead thread! So for cars that didn't have A/C, was there just a blank where the button is? I've deleted my A/C and was wondering what it was like.
