Sure are, and rapidly becoming brittle as they were designed in the Green Party time frame of Germany. So all plastic and glues are at biodegradable stage lol.

    I've got 2 still.

Noticed that a week or so ago....I was looking at picking up a 323ti as a DD.

So old already^ is right. I drooled over the E36 M3 when I was in HS.

Did you buy the 323Ti? I need to finish Ben's 328Ti and start using that as my DD.

I've noticed that the Sedan interiors hold up much better to the coupe's interior.

                Has anyone else noticed this?

I have been DD'ing a 1997 M3/4/5 for over a year and I really do think these make great drivers. Enough power to get into trouble, but not enough power to race your neighbor's Honda Odyssey minivan or Prius. It's perfect.

All I can say is e36(m3 of course) has treated me very well as it was/is my DD for the last 8+yrs and that s52 or car in general never gave me an issue. Just keeping up with regular maintenance and oem parts and she is a princess!! Still don't understand why they're not so popular.

                    Agreed.
Mine has over 250k miles and it hasn't left me stranded a single time.
Just feed her gas and oil and she'll nearly run forever.

Except I'll be doing a leakdown/compression test this weekend out of sheer curiosity. The car runs great, but you never know..

I can agree with this, buddy just picked up an M3/4/5 and while PO's have a lot to do with current condition, the wear was significantly minimal to the majority of the coupes I see around here. they interior just looked fresh.

also when did they change from "archive" to "classic?" The old way sounded way cooler

My '95 cabrio e36's interior was in worse condition than my '87 cabrio e30's. Except for the seats.

They did it a while ago, but RealOEM just caught up recently. I was definitely a little sad when I saw that.
