I have a lot of small areas of rust on my car, what can I do to get rid of it or stop it? I had this on my old Honda and I know how quickly it can spread.

The rockers have a lot of spots like this where the paint got damaged




this muffler is less than a year old :x


My rear bumper is cracked as you can see, can this be repaired easily?



Last, I have a chip in my windshield, has anybody gotten chips repaired? does it work well?


I appreciate your help, I know there's a ton of questions to answer here.

That needs to be biopsied and fully examined by a specialist in this field to determine which stage and chance of survival.

Rust isnt about you can see, but about what you cant.

That much visable rust tells me there is alot more within.

Be scared.

In all honesty that is alot of rust for a e30, e30's were very well rustproofed from the factory.

My winter driver 535i has similar rust, and like everyone else says, there is more hiding out. Pull up the carpets, etc and take a peak for yourself. Get a sawzall and make friends with the people at por15. It's whats keeping my 5 alive.

Sell the car, move to Arizona and buy a rust free E30 there.

yeah my car had rust on it when i got it, its all good now and everything is solid. I has rust in the same places

About the chip repair. Most insurance companies cover it (although mine doesnt). I had a chip repaired...you can still tell where it was at (not as bad as before the repair) and it also stops the chip from turning into a crack. Estimated cost...$60.
