So glad I didn't end up selling my trackday spot. My car's exhaust was ripped off completely, so I didnt think I'd be able to do it
Luckily my buddy let me drive his evo VIII the whole time! The car drove very well. That was my first experience driving awd on the track, I'd only driven rwd previously. Handled amazing, and plenty of power to push all 4 wheels out of an apex. but could use a drop and a fat rear sway bar. Only real problem with it was the brakes were cooked. Stock pads and stock fluid FTL.
ended up with the 3rd best time of the event, in a car that wasn't mine, that I didn't even push as hard as I could have. That had brake fade like WHOA. So I'm pretty happy with that.
There was a subaru event there 2 weeks ago, and I beat their best time by 2 full seconds. Take that sti/evo competition

Me on the straight in the evo. On the windshield it says "I lost to a civic," as he was beat by our buddy's 11sec turbo b18 eg.
A single turbo 350z. Thing hauled ass!
