So you have a post-secondary bmw specific auto program? That would be nice. I chose LTI for the STEP program being on campus. 7 of 15 in the current class are graduates of LTI columbia. Average hire wage is around 21 per hour with 100 percent job placement.

I start UTI on august 28th. Ive heard nothing, but good things about UTI and step one. I think the one thing im going to hate the most is having to sit in class for six hours a day, but thanks for pictures of the cars.

VT Bimmer when I start and get and get a couple classes done ill let you know how it is. Have you visited the campus yet? its mainlynascar crap, but you get to leave that campus as soon as you are done with the bumper to bumper program and go to another for step one.

MassBay has four different company-specific programs (BMW, Toyota, GM and Chrysler). It's only 2 years, is fairly cheap, and we graduate with an automotive technology degree, specialized in BMW. We share shop space with dealer training in Ashland, MA.

From talking to previous graduates of the same program, and guys who went to UTI, NE Tech, etc., MassBay makes it easy for us to get into STEP.

I just hope that when I graduate a year from now I don't end up at the NJ STEP (shithole).

Same here. The last place I want to go for the STEP program is NJ.
I wish they had a facility right in NC since thats where I want to be. Moving to NC is already a big deal without having to move after 11 months to Jersey and then back again.

Anyone have experience with UTI/NTI? Im moving to NC in Nov. and starting classes Dec. 15.
Cant wait to get down there.

I have been through STEP/UTI and it has been the best thing I have done so far.

Dont get too caught up with partyn there will be plenty of time when you are done making good money.

Surround youself with good students, you realy get out of it what you put into it.

              Good luck!

Sorry I asumed you were younger, sound like you have your head on straight, you wont have any problems.

bty be ready for some test taking, the first 43 days of step I had a test, quiz or pop quiz.

i am considering on going to UTI and eventually applying for STEP program.

I know the requirements for being eligible for the STEP.

But does that mean i have to have a CLEAN driving record within 18 months or from the time you have owned a license?

Not sure what their time frame is. If its been clean for a few years I wouldnt see a problem.

Thats a pretty awesome deal. I really wish they offered more specific training at lincoln. I think I would enjoy that much more. We go 15 months, and I'm out in december. The next step start date will be mid feb. So, I'm going to do all I can to get in.

They usualy go out 3 years so 3 violations within 3 years is pushing it but your could prob still get in if the other requirements are good.
