S50 Swapped E30 sitting for 7 years, what am I in for?

First off, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. Sorry if not.

So I've been looking around for an e30 for a while and I found a guy a few hours away who's selling an e30 with an s50 swap. The problem is that it has been sitting at his parent's house since 2008. The guy seems pretty legit and told me this right off the bat. He has screen shots of invoices for all the swap work- which was done professionally. He has a couple videos of it running from a couple of weeks ago, and he isn't asking for a crazy amount.

If I were to go look at this, and I loved it, I would have to drive it back; I don't really have another option. So I'm curious about what exactly would need to be done in order for it to make a 3 hour trip. Obviously there are some x factors that I probably wouldn't know that could happen, but besides flushing out all of the fluids, making sure the tires aren't rotted and that the brakes will work, What am I in for? And for that matter, is it even worth it?

TLDR; What will need to be done to a car sitting for 7 years to make it road worthy?

It was running a few weeks ago... Change the oil. Change the coolant. Fresh gas.

    y'all people worry too much.

Change all the fluids. Probably a good idea to change out the fuel filter and get the injectors cleaned.

7 year old tires are questionable. Ask for pics of the sidewalls to look for cracking. But, plan on needing new ones immediately, if they make it home.

I'd ask him if he can change the oil, provided you make a deal on the car. But, other than that, just get it home, change all the fluids, change the filters, belts, and any questionable hoses. Then drive it.

Pretty much that. And a AAA card, and put gas in it before you go very far.

And maybe don't tailgate, just in case the brakes aren't all that. Like you would with
any car you weren't familiar with...

Why not just rent a UHaul pickup with a car trailer and drive that back. I've done this multiple times and it will cost you $250 or less. That way you aren't worried about the tires blowing out or a brake line blowing and being stranded on the side of the road. If you did get stranded and had to call AAA, you'd be waiting for another 2 hours or so beyond your drive, if would cost you money outside of 100 miles. The time wasted for that is worth more than the $250 spent on the truck and trailer.

A Premier membership with AAA is < $100/yr for an individual, and it includes one 200 mile tow and three additional 100 mile tows annually. You don't have to actually be "stranded" to use them. And Premier members usually don't wait more than an hour. ;)

Quick compression test + all the mentioned above! I mean, it almost sounds like you're doing him a favor also when buying the car so I don't think he should mind.
