I do everything except machine work and welding myself. You really, truly appreciate the car more if you do.

Tried once to get the oil changed at a Valvoline - couldn't fit over the lip around the pit  Back to doing it meeself!

That is exactly how I work ...unbolt it, it will go back somehow, cause sombody had to put it there in the first place!

Same thing goes for working on computers ...my sister always asks me how I learned what to do. I don't have a F-ing clue what to do - I'm just not afraid of trying stuff out untill something works.

I think working on cars is 90% not being intimidted by the thought of taking your car apart, and 10% skill and having the right tools.

I just finished my clutch job a couple weeks ago. Well, I should say "we" finished it, I couldn't have done it without the help of Eric and Alecs.

Next up? Timing belt, water pump, upper strut mounts, belts, hoses, valve adjustment, new dog houses, and maybe wiper blades (really really big job!).

Oh and one nice little surprise. Nothing major, but should be a nice touch. ;-)

 He changes his mind on selling his car more often than he changes his underwear.

Glad he changed his mind. Now, if we could just convince him to stop changing his mind every few months...
