I was hit by a drunk driver last night and my 1985 325e is totaled. Does anyone know what i can get from the insurance company for the car? The car was in great shape too. thanks Matt

My 85 325e was "written off" a few months ago

Ins. gave me $3200 CAD for it. I also had $900CAD in bills of recent work I did to it.

Its an 85 eta? Dont get your hopes up.

If you have put a lot into it, get out the receipts and use them. My guess is you'd be lucky to get a couple grand.

reciepts reciepts reciepts. I had a 72 2002 in 1980 it was a total pos but I had over 7k in reciepts from Zipper BMW. I was hit by a drunk driver and got every penny plus I kept the car.
