Rear M roady swap is done...

Rear is done...sort of. The brakes lines are routed differently on the M roady trailing arms then on the E30 trailing arms so something will have to be done by this. Everything else goes right on. E36 springs DO fit in the rear as I am running E36 H&R sport springs and E30 Bilstien sport shocks. I will wait and see how the front turns out before I decide if I will stick with the E36 rear springs. I may have to order E36 ground control springs to get the car lowered to a level I like. It's hard to tell now because the car is not settled.

The rims fit perfectly in the rear. 17x8 Motorsport replicas with 205/40/17. I'll be running 225/35/18 after I max out my roth IRA and can afford some M parallel knockoffs :)

Rims look tiny to me! Maybe I need a pic of the car in the whole perspective!

      nice work nonetheless.

The wheels look awsome. I personally like those wheels and would not touch my investment to spend it on wheels. The car will brake like a racecar when done wow.

Put in lower springs, and get spacers.

          Looks sharp.

The rims do look tiny (They are et41). I can't wait to get the 18's on. The 18's will be et36 and stick out a little more.

As I said though, I first need to max out my IRA roth before I order the 18's. Investing always comes first. (Specially now that SS is dead)

looking good, looks like you need some spacers to bring the wheels out from the wheel well a bit

awesome man! whats the deal with the front?
did you use the stock E30 rear subframe?I have thought about using those trailing arms on my M3 if I ever needed to replace them, as they are a slightly better design and you get even bigger brakes...
how large are the rear rotors? they are vented right?

Very nice work. So did you run into any hang-ups along the way....such as rear subframe bushing removal? I hear that can be a nightmare of a task sometimes.

Once you have 18s its going to look even more impressive. Looking forward to seeing the rest.

The rear rotors are the same diameter as the E30 M3 and E36 M3 (312mm), but they are indeed vented unlike E30 rotors.
