    S52 E30 Good deal?

Do you guys think this is a good deal?

I can't really see how that is a good deal. People sell engine swapped E30s all the time, and while they sometimes post an asking price similar to this one, they frequently end up having to take significantly less. Don't get me wrong, it looks like a very nice car, but I don't see why anyone would feel a ton of pressure to pay more than 8-9k.

Around here, they don't seem to make it that high either.

But in Atlanta, maybe they do...

...and that's a really clean looking car, something that's getting
harder and harder to find. If you love it, go look at it.
If it really is nice, and exactly what you want, it's not
beyond the top of what a nice E30's going for these days.

No, it's not a "good deal" but it may very well be a fair price.
Probably more that I'd pay, but I'm a total cheap- ass who drives beat cars.

11k for an E30 with a oil leak?

When I say it like that, does it sound like a good deal?

Reading the ad though makes me think he's listing that as a "Let's see what happens" kind of thing. Doesn't really want to sell it, but if someone wants to pony up the cash he will. I can understand that.

Without seeing in person and just valuing it from the ad I think that is a good deal. There is a lot of work done to that car. If it is done right, and there is no rust and you are in the market I think it worth a look.

This. It looks clean and well sorted, and probably worth a look.

Interior looks EXTREMELY well sorted, which is gonna cost 1-2k to fix if beat. Looks priced correctly. I'm sure the seller would move in one way or another.
