    Next Step?

Ok i decided i want to start riding motorcycles, so do i continue to mod car like a madman or do i save up that money and throw it at a bike? Then mod my car. I can probably get a loan for the bike price, but i never was a fan of payments. Next up on my list of mods is an M3 5 lug swap, so ive got a while to save, (3-5 months to start) What do you think?

    A: Buy a bike
    Pros:
    Saves on gas money
    Saves on insurance (500cc)
Saves insurance on car since i wont be driving it as much
    Somthing new and exciting
Gives me a DD, and somthing to drive when my car is down.
    Easier parking at school
    Cons:
Might die a little sooner that planned
    takes money from car
    more bills.

    B: Save for car mods
    Pros:
Well we all know the pros of modding you car.
    Cons:
    Uses a LOT of money
Will still only have one vehicle
    higher possibility for car theft.

So what do you all think

I wouldnt (more accurately didnt) buy a bike if money was any kind of issue. having two vehicles like that is just asking to go broke, since bikes are so easy to mod. If you want to save on gas and insurance, buy a kia or something, or an old shitbox car, much much safer

I don't think getting a loan for a toy like a bike is a great idea. debt is something you should avoid at all costs. if you really want a bike, save up as much money as you can and pay with cash so you don't end up thousands in the hole for the rest of your life.

        Good advice. I agree.

Having lost two friends to motorcycle accidents and a co-worker who lost an arm due to a bike mishap, I agree a car, even an old shitbox, is much safer (with the exception of a Ford Pinto or a Suzuki Samurai).

You'll end up wanting to mod the bike
