after seeing your post, i googled this.

car and driver did a test on the latest 2015 model. apparently the t6 version puts out 300hp and not the 400+ claimed in the video. i didn't read long enough to get the details on what they thought of the engine, but they basically said the car sucked.

that is pretty cool that they are doing this though!

flyboy i think that this engine is only in their polestar race cars for now? at least that is what i got from the video, the similar engines, that are in normal cars dont have the electric turbo on it.

from what i read the t5 version is only turbo'ed but the t6 had both turbos and the electric supercharger/turbo.

ah makes sense, im sure the engine probably would go a longggg way with some proper non-safety volvo tuning though.

well video was for announcing it but as a concept. I'm sure it was de-tuned, or as they mainly speaking of it being a 450hp race engine and competing ect perhaps this version was for that purpose.

Also Maybe too its was done to show how capable this new technology is just on a 2L, loads of potential.
