The charges were dismissed! I went in and they asked if I go to school I said yes and told them where I go, then they asked if my parents were there. I said yea my mom is here, and they asked me to bring her in. Then they said "We normally give young kids a break if their parents are with them" I guess to make sure they know about what I did? He asked me earlier if they knew and I said yes. The police officer was cool with it too, he said "Man you have to use more common sense though" and then we talked for a bit because the magistrate might move into my neighborhood lol. I'm relieved that's over! Then he told me I have to pay a $250 court fees fine which is nothing compared to what would have happened with insurance and what the real fine would have been. The magistrate said it's $1000 minimum if they find you guilty of operating an unregistered vehicle. So I paid the fees and have nothing on my criminal record and nothing was added to my registry record.
Either way, it's not worth it. Age is on my side too, but having to get the car towed and all the stress I put on my parents and shit wasn't worth it even though I told them it was most likely going to go the way it did.
