ive asked this question before cuz i was trying to find another m20, and i felt they were overpriced. the prices are all over the map. it comes down to how much someone is willing to pay, and how much you care about trying to make a buck.

and Bumada, if he doesn't want it, let me know!

What are you guys smoking? maybe you guys have scored good deals in the past but this is a seller looking to sell his engine for a fair price.
If that engine shows good comp #s and has been well maintained it is a easily a $500 dollar engine. Only someone who doesn't know the market or is in a big rush to sell would let an M20B25 go for $250.
Ive sold M20b25s with good comp#s for 500 and heads off previously running motors for 200. I sold an auto tranny years back with 150k for $200.

Christ, I, and others I know, haven't been able to sell M20s for more than $100....I've just given the things away before.

Auto trannys are a give away thing too.....shit....couldn't even sell an M20 with the auto trans.....had to separate it.

I tried selling the motor out of my sedan way back when, had a video of it running and everything. Didn't even get a nibble at $300.

Once again, peoples expectations =/= real world market.

I sold my m20 with the automatic still attached (somewhere in excess of 275,000 miles on them) to RobertK for $200 when we did my swap. I felt like he was doing me a favor.
