E36 Content, talk me into/out of this.

Alright guys, I currently daily an E34 540i that I love but I've had my eye on E36's as a daily lately but this car seems like a good deal for the price, local to me, 184k, misfire on cylinder 3. Talk me into or out of this car r3v, make mind up!

    Edit: Interior pics added!

That color throws my brain for a loop.

Maybe it needs some wire wheels.

Why would you consider getting an automatic M3, let alone one with that many miles? That defeats the purpose of an M car, doesn't it?

I'd say look for another, OP. Who knows what secret nightmares might be lurking under that hood.

          That's not an M3.

Angel eyes, faded m3 badge, something funky with the front bumper. Someone did some serious "ebay modding" to that poor (stock, non-M) car.

I have a full 5 speed swap in my garage ready for a car, I'd probably say fuck it and keep the E34 and make a track car out of this, screw practicality. Under the hood is what's holding me back though, not sure what could be there

I'd still say keep looking. If you ever find a Technoviolet/Daytonaviolet E36 M3 in your search, buy it. I'm biased, but I think those are the best colors on an M3 other than Avus Blue and Hellrot.

Thank god, R3V was getting boring since the ginger kid wrecked his car. - Stonea

What are you talking about? It has all the lux package M3 stuff on it - side trim, door panels, steering wheel, sport seats, cluster needles, mirrors, wheels, bumper, headliner...

                      I'd daily an auto e36 m3 in a heartbeat.

that is not a custom color, it is a desirable, rare factory BMW individual color called Byzanz. I really like it, here's the M3 I used to own:
