I started up my '85 635csi today after 2 years of storage

With a new battery, it is back to life!!! First start, dies after a few seconds, 2nd start was good and on.

I cannot wait to take it for a spin again this summer. I missed it, the sound of a 6-cylinder engine is just so smooth...

See pics from when I first got it in '96 and to when I placed in in storage in March of 2002 when I got the '89M3.

      Hey Bing,
Beautiful 6er? We are looking for a 6er to build our CAIS. Any interest in coming up to CT for a day? There is a free CAIS in it for you.
      Thanks,
      Todd

That 6 is sweet! You should look into some european chrome bumpers for it. It'll improve the lines a lot!

Heck he can even crash at my place, and grab his steering wheel.

It runs very smooth. Average power, very heavy car. Almost 4,000 lbs.

I'd say the car probably runs about .50-75 seconds faster than stock 1/4 with 18's.

Even with NOS, it is a big car to pull. I just made it more fun to drive. ;)
