    I miss my e30

It's been just over 2 weeks now and I'm starting to go crazy. It's in the hands of a trusted autobody shop. I'm excited to see it after it's done. Would I be crazy if I went to visit my car?

No, ryno, but you would be more welcome in the shop if you had a 12 pack of cold soda with you, (for the techs, not the office staff!) or maybe a box of donuts early in the AM.

Ask the tech if he has seen any other issues you should worry about in the near future, but be sensitive to the tech needing to make money...don't be a pest!

i was thinking of bringing coffee and donuts for the crew. I'm not concerned about being in the guys way. I was moreso looking to see if anyone else out there has ever "missed" their car. I finished some nice mods the week before it went in.. thats probably adding to my impatientness

I have been to visit my car when it was in the shop. But it was after the shop was closed and we jumped a fence. Looking back probably not the best idea.

You wouldnt be crazy to check up on the car. At my place we have a guy who has one of his cars in for big jobs all the time and he stops in probably once a week just to see how its going, ask new questions about what he should do to his car, etc.

I haven't driven mine in over a month - do I miss it? Yes, because I missed the DE last weekend. But for a daily? No - especially not in this heat.

Fun car - knows its place.
