Took my air pump block off plates off for my s52, the studs and nuts came off like this



Is that ok?

its not supposed to be like that, but as long as they go back in the same way you should be fine. if you feel like doing it 100% right, double nut the studs, remove the nuts, use a stud installer to install the studs, then torque the nuts. i'd just torque them down the way they are now, shouldnt be a big deal.

It is odd....but at least you got the entire thing out. Sure beats posting a thread about how the bolt broke off while trying to back it out.
