    e36 --> e30

    Would e36 suspention fit into an e30?
    My drinking team, has a racing problem.

    Anyone have an aquarium? If you want fish, let me know.

      I'm not looking for a 5lug swap, I'm wondering if the coilovers and the shock + spring would fit right into the e30.

        E36 rates are way off for E30 use, they use a different rear suspension design. Don't even try it.

        Let's drive fast and have fun.

          The fundamental's for both E36 and E30 shocks and springs are the same.

          Same front and same rear design.

          The huge difference is in the E36's additional rear components. One trailing arm, one lateral camber link, wider f/r tracks, etc. that all add up to great grip.

          You can't transfer the stuff that makes a real difference from an E36 to an E30.

            Thanks for the information. My buddy can get hookups on e36 suspention. I didn't think that it would swap over. Even with a little bit of modification. Thanks for the information.
