It seems like doing this will reduce the handling of your car. By spacing out your wheels you may increase your track width, but you will reduce your wheel rate and increase the scrub radius. But if you're willing to sacrifice handling for looks...

Just make sure it's something YOU want to do and that it makes sense to you. Not because somebody told you it would be cool or "cuz racecar bro" or because you're bored and want to mod just for the sake of modding.

But at the same time being too low sucks ass and having some wheel gap might be worth it. I used to scrape when I just bought the car and it sucked. The car will ride like ass and bounce unless you have it dialed and your exhaust is going to be precariously close to the ground among other things. I think some wheel gap and no scrape/ rub is 20x better than the look
Nah man, hate to sound like an old man, but there's a point in time where a vehicle that has a enthusiast following such as ours, our mindset has to shift from modification to preservation.

When a car is in good presentable condition it is a waste of efforts of 20+ years maintenance and care of the vehicle by the previous owner(s) to slap some 275 series tires and slam it to the floor to replicate some car seen on instagram or the forums. When a car is past on from owner to owner in a clean well-taken care of manner it is going to be easier to keep up and Preserve the car for future generations, on the other hand the car that was heavily styled, modified, and personalized when it comes time to sell they yield lower resale value. Cars that are cheap and poorly modified are going to be neglected and disposed of a-lot faster than a clean looked-after example.

OP do what you want, but make sure its done right and easily reversible.
These cars are not rare now, but will be sooner than you think

Since you're young and will inevitably get bored with it and want to move onto another car, you will wish you had just left the body as untouched as possible because that is what really preserves the value of a car. I can see future ads for these cars with the "pro" list including "fenders never been rolled". I will never buy a car from somebody who rolled the living daylights out of their fenders, much less cut the fenders off and put some god awful flares on it. I guarantee you will not keep this car for life, so do yourself (and everybody) a favor and don't do any stupid shit to the body that will basically cut it's value in half. This stance/fitment nonsense will soon pass.
