1st: 1978 323i Orange, Recaro seats, Zender wheels, A complete and udder nightmare from the day I bought it to 3 months after I sold it and finally got the title. Too much to list here.
2nd:1986 325e Red, auto. Gorgeous car, stole it on Ebay, Sport interior
Dislikes: Noisy fuel pump, auto. But lots of fun, would like an E in a stick.
3rd: 1990 325i, Alpine White, Zender body kit, from CA clean, clean, clean.
I love this car and have a few small problems to sort out. Thinking about selling it to get some cash but not 100% sure yet.

First car: '86 325e, Delphine Grey with cardinal interior/ automatic
120k miles, bought it from p/o for $2300 in June 2001. Car was mint and had
                        been garage kept.
Death: Swerved to miss a deer, ended up clipping the deer and loosing the car in a
ditch. Only had liability insurance, car sits in my back yard to this day.

Current: '87 325is 150k miles, bought for $1200 in December 2001, bad paint and ripped
to hell seats but mechanically sound. P/O told me the timing belt had been
changed, and stupid me trusted him. Dropped a timing belt in April. After
finding a replacement M20 and seeing the potential of e30's I decided I would
                        dump some money into it.

                              mods most of you know

First: 2000 323Ci Bought in Jan. 2000. Great looking car, slow as hell. Yes, I ordered it with an automatic trannsmission-don't ask! Biggest mistake I made. Car was rear-ended three months after I bought it. I sold it just over a year later as I was never happy with the accident repair, and it wasn't a manual.

Second: 1990 325iS bought October 2000. The car that got me into working on them myself. Sold it to Bobby (rcwells) in July of 2003. But, I still get to help work on it! I still love that car....

Third: 2002 BMW 330i bought (leased) January 2002. You can say what you want about the E46, but this was a superb car in every way. Quick, handled well, very tight chassis, extremely reliable, and great looks. Never cared for the vague feeling clutch, but I could deal with it. Too bad life changes forced it to go, as at times I wish I still had it. And the 3.0L motor is just about perfect. Transferred lease in Sept. 2003.

Fourth: 1990 M3 bought May 2003. Words cannot fully describe it. A true M car, and a real BMW. Yes, I have thought about selling it at times, but if at all possible I will always own it. Everytime I drive it, it puts the biggest smile on my face-everytime. By far the most fun to drive car I have ever been in. If you have never driven one, then by all means do what you can to drive one at some point. You will then see what it is all about. This one is a keeper.

Fifth: 1997 M3 Sedan bought September 2003. This one has been interesting. It has needed a TON of things replaced since I bought it. Cooling system, clutch, suspension, etc. Ever since I bought it I have been driven literally almost insane trying to track down a rattle in the rear suspension. I replaced all of the usual E36 suspect parts, but none of it worked. Finally, just this past weekend, I fixed it. Whew. For a long while I seriously disliked this car because of the problems and the lack of progress I was having in fixing them. I almost put it up for sale a number of times (my friends tried their best to get me to sell it!) But now, it is coming together. I just have a few more things to replace and it will be good again. I have beaten it into my submission, and I think it now knows who the boss is. We will see how long it lasts....

Yes, there will be a sixth, and a seventh, and an eighth.....
