I want to say yes but I'm not sure. You will have to cross reference on RealOEM. Any differences will be subtle.

When I look on realoem under an e30 m3, I get the part number but when I search for it on ecs or fcp I get nothing.

Are you still looking for the battery tray? If so, here it is

Keep in mind, a lot of parts are NLA(no longer available), so they won't show up on those sites.

M3 battery's are in the trunk right? I'm looking for the trunk battery tray, I brleive this mounts in the engine compartment somewhere, I could've wrong though. I fount the battery tray as well as the cover. On realoem the don't show the part number on the diagram for a part that's been superseded. It only shows up when you click other the part and below it'll have what supersede it's or if it's the superseded part.

The battery IS in the trunk on the M3 as it is in the 325i's and 325e's. 318's and convertibles have the battery mounted in the engine bay.
