Concours is one thing, bent is another. It sounds like it was a light hit, but I would look it over closely to avoid chasing annoying issues related to an accident.

I'd love to own a Turbo'd Miata, almost picked one up a couple months ago for $2500. But it ended up being cheap eBay junk and a little too riced out.

Anyways, I'm meeting the guy in a couple of days again, so hopefully it goes well.

Just buy the spoiler and keep it as motivation till you find the right E30. Also, I'd say do if you want a project car, but if you are looking for a reliable daily just save up for something with a little more documented work and less problems.

Eh, this doesn't really need to be a daily, I have another car for that.
But I'm up for a project car

Sounds like a miss-mash of things that the seller is willing to admit are not right about the car. I wouldn't be surprised if you find 3x as many issues once you start digging into it.

Honestly, you will be much better served making a small vacation out of finding an e30. Save $3-4k, buy a plane ticket to southern california, buy clean e30 and drive it back. You won't have to deal with nearly as many issues because there is a big e30 network out there and finding a clean example will be much easier.

Wow, that thing looks beat. I personally wouldn't want to go through with that car. Why not sell your Miata and put in another one or two thousand of your own dollars and get a decent E30, or even an E36? You can find good deals on Bimmers out there. They exist. This, however, isn't one of them.

Just wondering, are the stock exhausts normally this loud? This thing sounds loud as hell compared to my E60.

Also one thing I noticed is the shifter feels pretty sloppy, especially in 3rd gear. 3rd gear and neutral basically feel the same

Shifter slop is normal.. I can't comment on the exhaust because mine is aftermarket. In any case, nice trade! Now that we know more about it
