Sucks! I dont want to know what happened to my E46, I put a lot of love in that car when I sold it, it was like brand new 200k miles later. I kept in touch with the new owner for a while and he was keeping it up but that was a long time ago.

I am one who sells cars out of my area, so that I never see them again. I have never see a car I have sold again. A few times I have sold out of the state. In fact the 1st BMW I sold ws my best car sale expirence. Guy sent a tow truck, who took it a few state over. Never saw, spoke or heard from him. He sent cash. 1St car I sold on ebay years ago.

Same here I sold two cars on Ebay both way out of state, they never saw the car in person until it got to them. The guy who bought the E46 was an enthusiast though so he kept in contact via email for a while.

I have never really sold a car in person lol.

Sold my first E30 nearly 15 years ago and have always regretted it. But, if I had not sold it, I never would have bought my current E39 (which I will never sell). Bought our current E30 this past Saturday and I still feel bad for the previous owner. He texted me Sunday morning after he saw the empty spot in his garage.

I once sold my minty mint, 1989 silver/black Toyota 4 runner (last year of the removable top) to an Italian kid who paid cash for it. He proceeded to jack it up, cut the wheel wells, install flares, and roll it down a hill destroying it. Since then, any car I care about gets sold out of town.......last car went to Texas.

Before my e30 i had a real clean example of an 2006 acura rsx type s 35k miles spotless... put a bunch of money in it and 2 weeks later after i sold it the guy calls me in thankgiving and ask me where i got my fog lights later explains he rear ended a semi.... 2 months later he calls me if i know a paint that would fix "this" send me a picture of the right quarter panel smashed in like he tried power sliding and hit a pole hard!
