BTW, he had a z4 3.2 shifter in it, as a short shifter.

Replica or something maybe then, like the one that keeps popping up on ebay. Lets hope this guy signs up so the general consensus can either praise or tear him a new one like anything outside the realms of standardization of the chassis formerly known as an E30, and the speculations are solved.
ddongbap - I just did a quick check to see if the Z4s were getting bigger engines because you said 3.2. I want one, but they are only up to 3.0s atleast right meow, just so you know.

I know of three that were imported. Mucho dollars for federalization. They were at a the Lime Rock Show a few years ago.
There was a guy on www.bimmerfest.com that created on in California. He grafted the panels and put a S14 in it but he butched the front lights with halos and what not.Last edited by SchnellerVert; 07-22-2006, 07:19 AM.

The only thing that made it an e30 m3 was the wide body fenders and the 20 year old suspension. If they would have dubbed it "e30 touring with wide body fenders and an s50" I would have been much happier.
2. it had bmp rs. not a big deal to get m3 bumpers on there
3. its an m motor. there are e30 m's out there
obv when he calls it that hes saying it has m3 characteristics, not saying this is an actual m3 touring from bmw
4. who caresOriginally posted by bluntcan you get me a deal on cases of their (fiji) bottled water? i wash my 02 in that shit

Seemed like the latest numbers were something like 7 real ones in the US. 4 on the east coast, one in the midwest and 2 west coast. It was in a thread on S14 last week - guy that knew numbers was a owner of a silver one himself and he rattled off the location and color of the other real ones. Don't think he bothered mentioning the garage built ones.
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.
