Sell or part out.

The time has come to lose my current driver. I have a two many cars and no space. Woudl I be better off selling the car 1500.00 or parting it out.

1991 318i, 160k runs real good, nice interior black, cd player, 15" bbs tires shot.

Car would need tires and brake before I sell. However I am leaing toward the parting out and save the cost of tires, brakes etc.

Any ideas or should I drive it off a cliff.

no need to kill a good e30 dude,

besides, tires and brakes are some of the first things an ethusiant upgrades, along with suspension. it would be perfect for the right person

Sell! I'm in the procss of getting the last few worthwhile parts off an 89. (Don't worry, the frame was tweaked from a collision) IMO parting out a car is just an enormous PITA and I certainly will never undertake it again...

Why the heck would you part it out? Seems kind of selfish. Sell the car for $1500 to some kid looking for his first E30. Then invite him to the forums.
