Sell or part out.

Why the heck would you part it out? Seems kind of selfish. Sell the car for $1500 to some kid looking for his first E30. Then invite him to the forums.

Not necessarily selfish but he is wasting a lot of time for not a lot of money really. He'd make more than selling it outright but that is a LOT of work, and never truly worth all the time spent (imo).

Hey guys here is the deal with the car.

The good:
168k
really clean interior
great running motor
I am putting brakes and two new front tires tommorrow(Tuesday)
JVC Cd player
4 door
red with black interior
bbs wheels (stock 15")

The bad:
Needs body work on passenger rear. I had a qoute to fix through a freind for 500.00, hence the 1500 price for an otherwise nice example.
Needs shocks
left F speaker bad
left kich panel cover missing ( hence bad speaker)

I want 1500 or I plan to part, keep in mind I have a shop and a person helps me ship, plus Fed Ex pick up account.

So should I part or sell sound like a 50/50 split here on the board. All the money will go directly into my 74 2002.

i have the exact same dilemma. I have a 91 318 as a DD and its falling apart brake wise. The motor runs like a top but i just want to get rid of it.
Diamond Schwarz Ext. and tan int. Got popped by a truck in the back right tail. bent the surrounding sheet metal a little. Needs paint. i think i might sell it for around 1500 as well.

I thought I was going to part a wrecked '87 325is but it got to be so much of a pain that I just sold the wreck to a friend for $800 who used some of the car in his own vehicle.

europeanplates, where do you live? If you are in the New Jersey / Tri-State area I would be interested in seeing this car.

there are plenty of the millions of e 30s that were made that are still good- if your dumb ass would think about it for a minute-- a $1500
E30 from someone who knows E30s- obviously isnt a great example.

This car is now for sale. I would like to get 1400.00 for it. Please PM me or post your email for pictures and details. The car is by no means a show car. It however has a very clean interior and the body less one spot is good also.
