If you will NEVER EVER run a plain euro setup without the mtech1 bits on the car then you have the option of running a hacked 771 (US pre facelift DB valance) behind the mtech1 front spoiler. It’s still hacked though.
With all the effort you’ve put into your 325is I’d think it would be worth the effort to at least go with a euro rep 772.. that’s what I’m running on my car because classic euro wasnt selling the OEM part at the time.
If have any intent EVER of running a non MT1 euro setup then you should have the 772 in place (OEM or eBay.de repro), and maybe consider a jimmy hill lip too
Either way, given the cost of the 772 repro I wouldn’t hack the US valance to save $200.. you’d also be able to save the original parts to put the car back to stock..
Thanks for the info. How do you order from that eBay link?

I bought from these folks 2 years ago.
Contact the seller to confirm they still ship to US.
Then you should be good to go.
Try running ebay.de through google translate if you need help reading the post

I need to get back on my car. Been working on the M5 and Z3 coupe. All I remember doing last on the car was diagnosing a misfire on the entire passenger bank. Suspect it’s the O2 sensor

Me too, need to get back to work. I have been finishing up the CSL ductwork on my e46M3 with CSL intake. I am going to start killing it soon with the e30.

Yeah I got a local Christmas meet -I set up and would be nice to show up with the Mtec.....lol
Scott from Strömung finally got around to offering mtech versions of his exhaust. This is a cropped version of pic he sent me showing his prototype.
@tvance306 just tried trial fitting his tech strömung on his mtech1 car and the tips are clearly not angled enough. They don't exit straight like the standard strömung, but the angle just isn't sharp enough outboard to line up with the exhaust cutout on the mtech1 rear apron.
This isn't Scott's fault btw. His angled exhaust just doesn't fit mtech1. I'm in contact with him to look into getting these modded, also into switching to the double wall tips that came on my straight version.
Scott from Strömung ended up making mtech1 adapter tips.
@tvance306 has just trial fitted them
here's the tips cut off
and the new slip on tips mounted. he hasn't tacked them in yet.

We got a local meet this Sunday so I decided to get him ready. It’s backfiring quite a bit so I will check the passenger O2 sensor.
As you can see I still haven’t installed the the window trim.
