Just need to find a better picture! They look ok on some cars, without all the yellow lights, and decals, and bauer model, and green color!

I think he is referring to the rear spoiler.

On a side note, what do youall think of this one? Painted or unpainted?

In that case, hell yeah it is ugly as... I dont know. :P

That one is pretty cool. I dont think your car needs a spoiler, I think it would ruin it!

The rubber rear spoiler is all a matter of opinion I think if some of you saw it in person you might think differently. I admit it isnt the coolest looking spoiler but it does the job of adding downforce and that was Alpina's purpose.
Ryan: unpainted would look best, oh yeah and definately go for an S52 :)
M42sport: cant wait to see the pics

I would leave it unpainted given that they're pretty rare. If you paint the rubber part there's no going back as I don't think you can take the paint off rubber.

So far I took pics of the outside only. Have to get a chance to see the interior and engine bay.

our 535is has a rubber spoiler like that on the back. came factory but looks really sharpe on older cars. i personally like the look of that spoiler. painted would look killer.

As far as the Alpina cars go, all together they really arent that tough or fast. Alpina still sells plenty of engine mod parts for the E30 I know cause my best friend bought the motor kit, and the exhaust, and it all sux. You can find much better and larger exhaust and headers, Alpina made thier parts to be STREET LEGAL in Germany, so therefore there are plenty of better tuners out there The ALPINA cars were and still are very SEXY though! I have alot of original ALPINA parts and wont put them on my car cause there is much nicer stuff out there. And for that spoiler in the pic. That is a M tech I spoiler, that alpina used also, it looks very nice. Alpina also made thier own spoiler (rear) that looks all square and the ugliest thing you could imagine, I will post a pic of it one day, I have it in my garage just cause it is too ugly to throw in the trash!

Its been a downhill slide. Alpina saw pure balls in the E21 models with the biturbo, then started building more mediocre monsters in the E30. Then as regulations got stricter they started focusing on luxury.

This is the godawful spoiler we are speaking of, they dont sell it anymore:
                      Im now E30less.
