E30 Key head

I just got an OEM key for my e30 from a local BMW dealership and all I got was the piece of metal. I was wondering how to get the black "head" piece so that the key isn't so small. Thanks

Well yes that piece but also the outer black piece that that connects into. And I read up on reviews of those eBay keys, and most said that they are junk. I went to the dealership with the VIN and everything to get the correct key codes. Key works perfectly, but its really short.

A lot of ebay keys are junk, the ones I posted are not. They are genuine. You can contact Levent or Blunt and see if they can help you. Otherwise, your only option is to buy the whole key for $30 and then swap the metal.

That is a fake. They are made to look like a light up, but are solid. Of course, that is an option too. Of course, most non genuine key metal is much softer too. Higher chance of snapping in sticky locks. Which OEM keys can do too, which is why I prefer keyless entry.
