Have you guys ever used simple green on your wheels? It works great for me. Plus, its super cheap.
Yep, it barely made any difference on my baked/caked Azevs. Plus the Sonax sprays on bright yellow and turns purple as it eats brake dust, which is neat.
I haven't tried the Griot's so I'm not sure how it compares, though Sonax makes a regular strength and a heavy duty - "Full Effect" and "PLUS" respectively.
I use the Full Effect when I've done a fair job of keeping up with cleaning my daily's wheels, and I use it religiously on my Ronals. With the PLUS I was able to remove just about all of some seriously caked on brake dust which was more or less baked into my Azevs.
I may give it a whirl just to see how it compares. I used the heavy duty griots on my Ronal LS's and it works great but was just curious of that stuff since i had never heard of it. I dont let my car get dirty haha i usually give it a wash every week and a wax every couple of weeks and hit it with some spray detail between washes. Im a detail whore lol.
Edit: The griots goes on clear and turns purple as it sits aswell
I keep the other stuff (Lexol, leather wipes..etc) around for quicky stuff I am selling or friends cars, but my stuff I keep it minimal - little bit of detergent and water with a stiff brush (paint brush with bristles but short) and then Bag Balm. Really relaxes the leather and makes it supple again.

There is one already. I think I was the last guy to post in it, months and months ago.
Its not really a detailing thread just a walk through. I was thinking more of a thread to post products that are new or have been found to work really well or ask questions. That one is also buried in the cosmetic section which many people probably don't visit

What do you guys use to keep the original leather nice and supple, or at least make it soft(er)?
Leatherique is great for bringing back leather that hasn't been well cared for. I don't know if it's necessarily the best product for maintenance of leather which has been well cared for, or on new leather.
