Buy it and enjoy it, just hope it doesn't need a clutch soon they are pia to do. Also since it's getting up in age Porsche doesn't stock quite as many parts as BMW did/does. And Porsche charges more for parts.

Yeah, definitely a respray. Probably why it looks so good.

It's all about the driver.. I've maneuvered some miles in a 940 turbo you wouldn't understand. Don't forget about the "stomp and go" differential..

They are definitely great drivers cars although my experience is only with the 951 which has a lot more power. I will agree that im not so sure about the milage being accurate on that car. Its definitely had a respray and why does it hve a different color driver seat

My neighbor bought a 1984 944 w 13k original miles last year for $1500. Older original owner purchased it new and sat undriven under a tarp since 1988. Changed clutch and buffed the paint and it looks brand new. Def hop on that if its legit

3k? That's pretty cheap for a sweet car.

Don't they have 5 place odometers? So it could be 135000.

As long as you can live with slow they're fun, good handlers, and the early cars have a super funky driving position that feels like a cockpit.

Although it looks in fairly good condition, the passenger's side looks to have been in the sun for a long time.
