Buy it and enjoy it, just hope it doesn't need a clutch soon they are pia to do. Also since it's getting up in age Porsche doesn't stock quite as many parts as BMW did/does. And Porsche charges more for parts.Leave a comment:

It's all about the driver.. I've maneuvered some miles in a 940 turbo you wouldn't understand. Don't forget about the "stomp and go" differential..Leave a comment:

They are definitely great drivers cars although my experience is only with the 951 which has a lot more power. I will agree that im not so sure about the milage being accurate on that car. Its definitely had a respray and why does it hve a different color driver seatLeave a comment:

I wouldn't call them slow. They're very well balanced and fun to drive, the engine is basically half of the 928 V8.
The straight line acceleration might be comparable to the Volvo Turbo, but when you got to the first turn it would be the last you saw of the Volvo.

My neighbor bought a 1984 944 w 13k original miles last year for $1500. Older original owner purchased it new and sat undriven under a tarp since 1988. Changed clutch and buffed the paint and it looks brand new. Def hop on that if its legitLeave a comment:

Should that sunroof seal be black? Kinda looks like a respray(Not that it's a dealbreaker - and I don't even know if that was a factory color to be honest). Just FYI.Leave a comment:

Don't they have 5 place odometers? So it could be 135000.
As long as you can live with slow they're fun, good handlers, and the early cars have a super funky driving position that feels like a cockpit.Leave a comment:

Although it looks in fairly good condition, the passenger's side looks to have been in the sun for a long time.
Plain 944 is terribly slow though, but if you want something different, why not. In the least you're only out $3k.Leave a comment:
